Community Relations Committee

Community Relations provides opportunities for members to contribute to Alachua County’s nonprofit community through service projects and other charitable endeavors. The committee also organizes ACEL’s signature fundraiser, the annual Champions for Charity kickball tournament.

Marketing and Communications Committee

Marketing and Communications oversees ACEL’s public relations efforts, creates its marketing strategy, manages its social media platforms, develops its print and electronic collateral and provides publicity materials to media professionals.

Professional Development Committee

Professional Development educates members and helps them grow as professionals through a variety of programs and partnerships with other organizations and community leaders.

Public Policy Committee

Public Policy gives members the opportunity to interact with policy makers, to learn more about the infrastructure of the city and county and to create a voice for young professionals in their community.

Social Committee

Social allows current and prospective members to network with their peers and other professional organizations by organizing events designed to appeal to young professionals’ diverse interests as well as monthly ACEL Happy Hours. The committee also hosts the ACEL Annual Dinner, its premier social event of the year.
