Why Join

Joining ACEL is an investment in yourself and your community. With over 100 events annually there's so much to gain from joining ACEL.

Alachua County has always been a college area, and getting connected to the community outside of that can be tough to crack. The good news is that once you do it's an amazing place with so much to offer. ACEL works to create a rich community life for young people, and that starts with connecting the community of young people together. With hundreds of members and over 100 events a year there's no better way to get connected to the rich, diverse, and passionate community of young professionals than through ACEL. Whether it's our monthly happy hours, days at the springs, cultural events, community service projects, or luncheons, there's always something to help you connect to our great community.

Life is better when you're out living it. ACEL works to create a fulfilling life for young professionals in the area, and that means engaging them in our great community. No matter what your passion we can help guide you toward living it. Whether its engaging in cultural events, supporting philanthropy, changing public policy, or networking with leaders in your industry, ACEL can help you do it.

We work to build a better generation of community leaders by our professional development initiatives. Our mentorship program pairs members with leaders in the community for a chance to learn the skills needed to build your career. The microgrants program gives our members a chance to pursue professional development opportunities with ACEL funding. Book Clubs allow young professionals to read and discuss with their peers topics to grow their professional skills. Many of our members

Your membership cost is completely tax deductible, and all money goes back into supporting our programs for the community. Know that your money is being put to good use, whether it's in feeding the homeless at Grace Marketplace, building relationships that help foster community engagement, or supporting the culture and arts.

Our mission is to build the community of young professionals, so many of our events are open to the community at large. However, many of our more popular events are limited to our members.
